LET'S CHAT

Let's meet up for a no obligation coffee or teams chat. This is a great opportunity for us to break the ice, for me to learn more about your relationship, but mostly for you to make an informed decision as to whether you feel I am the right fit for your special day.

BOOK ME

If you feel during our chat that I am the right fit for you, let's get to the questions so I can curate the ceremony of your dreams, or if you need some time send me an email when you're ready.

QUESTION TIME

If you needed some time before booking but have made the decision to continue with me as your celebrant. I will organise a hui with you, so I can ask you both a bunch of questions. This gives me a better insight into who you are as a couple, learn more about your relationship and your love story to be able to write a ceremony that includes everything that is important to you.

KEY DETAILS

I will send you a draft and we can make changes until you're both happy! I will provide a copy of my PDF to help with writing your personalised vows (if wanted) and remind you to order your wedding licence. (This can be emailed straight to me for safe keeping).

THE BIG DAY!

I will arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony, I will have all the important documentation printed and ready for the day. I'll get you married, lodge the paperwork and leave you both to enjoy the night with those nearest and dearest to you.

A simplified ceremony with a set script for couples who want to meet the legal requirements without the full on ceremony.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

I only facilitate weddings in Gisborne and The East Coast, as far as the tribal boundaries of Te Whānau ā Apanui.

Please note weddings outside of Gisborne City do incur additional travel costs.

HOW DO WE MAKE IT LEGAL?

You can apply for your wedding licence a month before the big day and it is valid for
3 months. This can be applied for online, simply Google "apply for a wedding licence NZ" and follow the prompts on the Government website. The licence costs $150
(seperate to my fee). You can opt to have the licence sent to me directly if you want one less thing to worry about on the big day!
